Thank you for all your engagement in the process of transition; Jill died and you cared for her remains from hospice to the grave with dignity, care, and respect. She very much wanted you to be, as it were, her guardian. She knew from how you acted with her friend Ann that she could place all her trust in you to “do it right”. Best wishes,
Sam and Penny, York and Barnsley
Chris, I am so grateful it was you that answered the call that fateful day. Thank you so much for making one of the worst times manageable Your encouragement to make a funeral their own – it really does work.
Rosalind, Barton le Willows
Dear Chris, thank you so much for organising such a lovely service for my dad Dr B. You were very kind and thoughtful.
Harvey and Anna, Tadcaster
Firstly, I want to say you’re so very kind. Secondly, we both are eternally grateful for all your help and consideration during this hard time. Thirdly, you have most definitely helped me process my emotions and opened my eyes up to ways of dealing with mourning and goodbyes in ways I would have never thought of and, lastly, I want to wish you the best with everything and remind you that your bright personality brightens up the room more than you know.
Judy, Amotherby
I thought I’d put pen to paper to say what a lovely service it was today. I know Sue had planned everything in great detail – which you carried through with great attention to detail and care. All in all a very special occasion. We have been up to Castle Howard this afternoon for a walk and to buy a hydrangea to remember Sue by. With all good wishes

Dearest Chris. The words “thank you” just don’t seem enough. You have been reassuring, respectful, caring, warm and understanding, to say nothing of your support. My mum would have loved you too, that’s for sure. You gave me a wonderful gift in letting me take care of Mum, allowing me to turn your back room into a make-up parlour and hairdressers. Our ceremony at your premises was so very right for our family. What you have to offer is unique, welcoming and memorable. All our love
Katherine, Emma & Izzy
Thank you so very much for all your help and support with Dad’s funeral. I knew all along that you would be doing it with me. Even though circumstances meant that you couldn’t come down (London & covid) you were with me in spirit throughout. I cherish our friendship and wish you all the very best. With love

Thank you so much for what you’ve done for Dad, Mum and all of us. We very much appreciate all your kindness and hard work. Please thank Mark and Pete too for looking after Dad “on his hols in Scarborough”

Thank you on behalf of myself, Michael and Stuart for making yesterday flow so naturally and beautifully. Mum told us what her wishes were whilst in the hospice and these were all fulfilled yesterday. You offered us not only professionalism and attention to detail, but a genuine warmth and compassion that I will never forget. Wishing you well with love and gratitude
